Lowering the Carbon Footprint of Theatre by using top quality local ingredients

Uncommon Players:

  • Is a mix of theatre artists mostly based in South Devon. Some members make a living from performance and arts activities; all are keen to make high quality, interesting theatre for the local and regional population

  • We put on productions.

  • We arrange workshop and development activities, erratically.

We have had to cancel this coming Fridays' performance at Teignmouth.  24th May.

Due to unforeseen circumstances at the theatre. Many apologies if you were planning to come.

Last Friday and Saturday we played Talking Heads to sell out houses, some of whom stood and cheered at the end, unpaid.

There are two more opportunities to see the show - catch it if you can:

Bradninch Guildhall

Talking Heads Touring Devon and Cornwall again.

Talking Heads is out again in May and June.   We first produced three of these wonderful Alan Bennet plays with Exeter Northcott in 2012, and they met with great acclaim.  We took the show on a second outing last summer; we're pleased to say there's yet another opportunity to see it in 2013.

Our Talking Heads has a facebook page all of it's own and you can see reviews, comments and video extracts of rehearsals and performances if you go to http://www.facebook.com/pages/Talking-Heads/261994707189189.

But for now, please come and see Talking Heads.

We have another Facebook page that contains some great feedback about the Samuel Beckett festival at Exeterbikeshed in February. it's here http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Uncommon-Players/197651576918073 .

Endgame received many excellent comments, you can see them on facebook and there are links there to see some video extracts.
